About

Assalamu alaikum and welcome everyone!

I'm Faatimah and this is my blog.

Here you'll find step-by-step photo recipes for both sweet and savoury halal dishes.

I love putting a halal spin on many different cuisines. On my blog, you'll find plenty of recipes for both busy weeknights and slow weekends.

There's also plenty of traditional Pakistani food here - the kind your mother used to make but you were always too scared to try.

And of course, I love ticking things off my baking bucket list. Baking is how my love for the kitchen began. There's lots of classic baked goods along with a few more adventurous ones. And everything is halal, of course!

Finally, a few fun facts about me in the kitchen. I cannot stand desiccated coconut, could eat chicken all day long and have the worst time piping icing onto cupcakes.

Have a browse through my blog and enjoy!

My Current Baking Bucket List!
  • Marshmallows
  • Parkin
  • Pecan Pie
  • Banana Cream Pie
  • Apple Strudel
  • Swiss Meringue Buttercream
  • Madeira Cake
  • Chocolate Pudding Pie
  • Funnel Cakes
  • Marble Cake
  • Jam Doughnuts
  • Macarons

  1. Hi Faatimah

What a great site. I have done a few of your recipes and they are great. Tasty, easy to do and a godsend. My GF Nivi and I have a tiny kitchen so no room for such luxuries as a deep fryer so your oven recipes are a lifesaver.

Keep doing what you are doing as you and your recipes are inspiring!

    Stewie :)
