Sunday Cravings: Spicy Pizza!

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

guys, it has been so hot here this week.

we've had thunderstorms and blazing sunshine with temperatures reaching 28C! in between all of that, we have been blessed with the arrival of Ramadan which I celebrated with a chocolate cream cake!
because it's been so hot, I've been craving summery foods for Iftar.

so far we've made pasties out of parathas with a herb chicken filling, crispy spring rolls because I couldn't resist and one of my favourite summer biryanis - the keema biryani.

a lighter on the spice version of the classic into which I threw an entire bunch of fresh coriander and plenty of lemon and shocked one of my dearest Somali friends.
but today, I am craving a spicy pizza with plenty of cheese. and, I would definitely serve it with our house's summer drink of choice - the mango milkshake. so, let me share with you some pizza ideas. I hope you love them as much as I do.

Homemade Pizza - my first ever pizza recipe on this blog features a cooked tomato herb sauce, spicy mince, more spicy jalapenos and all the cheese! get the full recipe here!

Chilli Cheese Fries Pizza - oh my gosh! think pizza, spread with leftover chilli con carne, fries (!!!!) and cheese. I can't!! get the full recipe here!

Smoky Chicken Tikka Pizza - another simple pizza to make. it's pizza dough topped with no-cook tomato saucesmoky chicken tikka, peppers and cheese! bake, slice and dip into a coriander green chilli yoghurt for what I think would be the most delicious Iftar. get the full recipe here!

Sweet Spicy Pizza - I love spicy things but I think I may love sweet spicy things more. a perfect example is this pepper pizza topped with sweet cherry peppers, spicy jalapeno peppers and cheese. so simple but satisfying. get the full recipe here!

Chicken and Sweetcorn Pizza - another classic example of my love of sweet and spicy things on pizza. here, our pizza base is topped with a homemade spicy chicken mince, sweetcorn, jalapenos and cheese. again, another simple combination that always works. get the full recipe here!

Banh Mi Pizza - the pizza version of the classic Vietnamese sandwich. this one is topped with glazed chicken mince meatballs, eggs and cheese. once baked, it's covered with shredded cucumber, carrot and radish. so good! get the full recipe here!

Spicy Korean BBQ Chicken Pizza - one of my new favourites. the spiciest Korean chicken is cooked. it tops a wholemeal pizza base along with passata, Cheddar, Mozzarella and spring onions. make a quick garlic sauce to dip and you're ready to enjoy! get the full recipe here!

Spicy Chicken Mince Pizza - I need to make this pizza! it looks so simple with a spicy chicken mince topping finished with plenty of cheese. yes! get the full recipe here!

Ramadan Pizza Bar - a throwback to last Ramadan when we held a pizza bar. it's so easy, all you do is roll out the dough to make a few pizzas, set out all the toppings and let everyone choose their own. this was mine - half cheese and tomato + half veggie. love! get the full idea here!

Sinful Chocolate Pizza - guys, I couldn't resist throwing in a sweet recipe. I mean, if you're going to be making homemade pizza, you might as well let it be dessert too. this chocolate pizza topped with Nutella, more chocolate and marshmallows is calling me. get the full recipe here!

lately, on the blog:
smoky paprika lemon chicken wraps + basil feta yoghurt

Keep me in your duas please,

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!
